I spent a blissful Sunday morning yesterday, drinking coffee and eating homemade biscuits and gravy prepared by my amazing husband, while consuming three hours of The Real Housewives of Dallas.

Now I’m about to drop some hon-est-tea.

As any true Housewife fan knows, everything starts with the infamous taglines, so ‘lets begin!

Kameron: “Blah blah blah blah pink dog food.”

D’Andra: “My husband may actually beat Mauricio as Hottest Housewife Husband, which finally gives me some sort of relevance”

Cary: “My husband doesn’t like our child; what should I do?”

LeeAnne: “I may be nuts, but at least I’ve got the best guy on the show.”

Brandi: “If you want to see home video of me as a child, simply watch my daughters.”

Last is Stephanie, but I have more to say on her than only giving her a tagline. I wasn’t a huge fan of Stephanie last year and I can’t really say why; she just wasn’t that interesting to me. She lacked a personality a bit and she seemed to be playing the sidekick to her husband and Brandi.

HOWEVER, STEPHANIE HOLLMAN IS THE REASON DALLAS HOUSEWIVES NEEDED TO COME BACK FOR A SECOND SEASON!

She has seriously TRANSFORMED into a beautiful butterfly! Some of my favorite Stephanie Hollman moments so far this season include:
– her comparison of meeting Brandi’s family to the Bachelor and how she’d get the final rose
– the Catfish Barbie comment
– standing up to Travis about that god awful pool in their new house
– being the bigger person when LeeAnne came as “Two Faced”

She’s a queen!

Speaking of LeeAnne, we need to discuss. I don’t know what it is about her, but I seem to find myself always rooting for her. This isn’t just because she provides the most entertainment with her crazy behavior. I think  deep down LeeAnne just wants to be accepted by all the girls (& honestly don’t we all?). I hate that she threatened Cary and I know that scene where she smashes a glass is coming …

But the good news is (as mentioned earlier) she has such an amazing support system in Rich; I mean that proposal was a-maze-ing!!! So sweet! She’s also working on herself by going to therapy (which are some of my FAVORITE scenes this season BTW). Finally, while I was researching for this post, I found out LeeAnne was FREAKING IN MISS CONGENIALITY AS ONE OF THE BEAUTY PAGEANT CONTESTANTS! Her hands may just be hands but you better believe that animal balloon scene should DEFINITELY win her extra points in your eyes.

Going into tonight’s episode, I think the lines are obviously drawn with Brandi, Stephanie, & Cary on one … and LeeAnne, D’Andra, & Kameron on the other! But regardless of sides, I must say that ladies are just dumb; not these ladies, females in general. It doesn’t matter how many honest teas you have or how many make up presents you try to give people or how many times you try to apologize … females, regardless of age, will get their feelings hurt by a mean comment. Females will always want to be the “best” friend out of their group of friends, and females will always talk behind one another’s back.

I’m not saying this is right. We as females need to do better, however, this behavior is what has built the housewives empire. This behavior is why us fans tune in each week and get excited when a new franchise is started or when a firecracker like Danielle Staub returns (two more days until #RHONJ!). I’m guilty of this behavior with my own friends and when I sit here criticizing people from behind my blog. I think the best we can do is realize when we are wrong and try to change.

I’ll start tomorrow.

For now, I’m all about the Dallas ladies and am super pumped to see what all goes down in Mexico! Ay ay ay!
